Competency snapshot

26 years in reverse chronological order

Scroll: the period at the center comes into focus while the others fade. They turn amber when they belong to the last 10 years.

Pre-career · 1998 — 2000

Early professional formation

Enterprise hardware, university-era venture and Y2K mission-critical project for IBM Colombia

  1. Summer 1998

University internship · Electronic Engineering, USTA

Computer hardware assembly for the banking sector

    Subcontracted through SOLTSER S.A.

First formal hands-on experience with enterprise hardware: assembly and configuration of computer equipment for Colombian banking institutions during the summer academic break.

  2. 1998 — 1999

    University-era venture · Computronics Bytecom

    High-performance custom PCs on demand

~10 referred clients · Own-brand letterhead and business cards

Design, assembly and delivery of custom-spec, high-performance machines. Operated for about a year serving family and condominium neighbors. Trade name never registered with the Chamber of Commerce, but present in proposals and business cards.

  3. Dec 1999 — Jan 2000

    SOLTSER S.A. (NIT 800.171.428-3) · Work Order No. 11-018

Y2K strategy for IBM Colombia Top clients

End client: IBM Colombia · Supervision: Alba Albarracín

Mission-critical Call Center support for the Year 2000 Problem contingency. AS/400 server configuration and extensive on-site support for IBM Colombia's Top clients. Intensive training Dec 20-24, 1999; critical operation Dec 27, 1999 – Jan 7, 2000; daily 8:00 to 18:00.

These three milestones consolidated, before graduation, an early calling to operate end-to-end with enterprise hardware, create income parallel to studies, and deliver under pressure in mission-critical projects.

Claro Colombia

IT Project Leader · Technical Owner B2B

TelecommunicationsIoT

Corporate B2B Customer Experience — Value Stream Technical Owner (3+ yrs)

Owned the value stream within the Business Owner – Technical Owner – Agile Coach triad; governed corporate KRs/OKRs and a feature roadmap delivered through HUT developments across platform-specialized software factories (ONYX, BSCS, SGA, AC, OFSC, HP Service Manager, IVR, Bus Empresarial…) under a scaled-agile model, with continuous vendor and software-factory interlocution.

  • Generative-AI assistant for contact-center advisors (project manager): in production on Salesforce (Agentforce/Einstein and Data Cloud), with semantic search over the customer-service process knowledge base; the project's target is a 30% cut in average handling time.
  • Customer-facing WhatsApp AI agent (in design): designed to be orchestrated with the existing assisted channels, using the live conversational infrastructure as a bridge to legacy systems — avoiding the wait for the full CRM migration.
  • Smart invoice summary: when a monthly charge exceeded the customer's recent average, the bill email opened a clear AI-generated explanation, cutting call-center inflow.
  • Portfolio governance dashboard: AI-assisted consolidation of the Azure DevOps backlog (KRs → Features → User Stories) into Excel and a Power BI dashboard built by a developer, replacing the manual Excel → PowerPoint flow; Claro 2024 podcast feature.

B2C Customer Experience — Value Stream

  • Mobile-App Revenue Assurance (Disney / Netflix / Prime): revenue gap reduced from >90% to <1% in under a year.

Initial PMO

  • Terminal Disablement platform: remote disablement on financed receivables; >USD 30M monthly recovery; FOTA across Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, LG; data governance at scale.
  • Avaya PBX renewal & scoring artifact: PBX modernization plus an Excel + macros tool for project-complexity scoring.
